Terms and Conditions of Booking

1.Quotation Accuracy

Our quotation is based on the measurements you provide. Please ensure these measurements are accurate, as any variations on the day due to floor level discrepancies or incorrect measurements will incur additional charges of £37 + VAT per 0.1 m³ for extra materials required.

2. Handling Unused Material

Any unused material must be disposed of properly. It should be placed in a plastic-lined skip or a large industrial container capable of holding 400-500 litres of water, which will also be used to wash and clear our screed pipes.

3. Pipe Length and Access Requirements

Our standard van carries 60 metres of pipe. If the furthest point for pumping exceeds this distance, please inform us in advance so that we can load additional pipe (up to a maximum of 100 metres). Additional hire charges may apply in some cases.

4. Preparation Requirements

Please refer to our preparation guide on our website or the copy sent with your invoice. This guide outlines the essential preparation standards required for us to proceed with your job. Proper preparation ensures the best results.

We also provide an aftercare guide with information on underfloor heating commissioning and care guidelines. Please note that the quality of our work is contingent upon your preparation. We are happy to liaise with your floor installers, plumbing, and heating engineers to assist with this process.

5. Cancellation and Amendment Policy

If preparation does not meet the required standard and cannot be easily rectified on the day, or if the installation is canceled by you within 72 working hours of the scheduled job, a cancellation fee of £550 + VAT per booked day will apply. Following the preparation guidelines will help avoid this situation.

You may cancel or amend your booking at any time. However, cancellations or amendments made within 48 hours of your scheduled pour date may result in the following charges:

• Supplier cancellation fees of £350 + VAT per lorry booked.
• Additional costs incurred by us, such as accommodation or labour expenses.
• A minimum charge of £750 + VAT.

These charges will be deducted from any monies already paid, and the balance will be refunded. Any additional payment required for re-attendance will be collected separately.

6. Datum Information

Go-Flow Ltd will work based on the datum provided by you, the customer. The datum is the specified height used to determine screed levels throughout the property. We accept no liability for inaccuracies resulting from incorrect datum information provided.

7. Measurement Accuracy

All payments and quotations are based on the measurements you provide. If these measurements are found to be inaccurate upon our arrival, and additional screed or materials are required, the extra costs must be paid in full before work can proceed.

8. Liability Disclaimer

Go-Flow Ltd accepts no responsibility for cracks or damage to floor screeds caused by:

• Substandard preparation work.
• Building or sub-floor movement.
• Failure to follow the post-care screed guide provided by us.
• Failure to adhere to our preparation guide.
• Damp conditions.
• Use of incompatible adhesives or grout for floor coverings.

9. Payment Methods

Payments can be made using all major card types except AMEX, via BACs transfer, or in cash. BACs payment details are printed on all invoices. Some credit cards may incur additional charges.

10. Access Requirements

On the day of your screed, we require access to an external tap with good water pressure and a suitable area to wash our pump and pipes. Failure to provide these may result in cancellation, with the following charges:

• Supplier cancellation fees of £350 + VAT per lorry booked.
• Additional costs incurred by us, such as accommodation or labour expenses.
• A minimum charge of £750 + VAT.

These charges will be deducted from any monies already paid, and the balance refunded. Extra payment will be required for re-attendance.

11. Preparation Compliance

It is crucial to follow our preparation guide. Failure to do so may prevent us from completing the work and result in cancellation charges as stated above. Additionally, screed leakage during the pouring process may cause inaccurate levels, cracks, or damage to insulation. Leakage can also cause insulation and underfloor heating systems to lift above the screed. We accept no responsibility or liability for such issues caused by substandard preparation.

12. Pump Pipe Length Notification

You must inform us if the total pipe run from the pump location exceeds 60 meters. Failure to notify us may result in incomplete work and the application of cancellation charges as outlined above.

13. Lignite in Screeds

The presence of lignite should be expected in all our screeds. Lignite is a naturally occurring, soft brown or black coal-like substance found in sand aggregates. While it may be unsightly, it does not compromise the integrity of the screed.

14. Drying Times

Drying times are provided as guidelines only. Factors such as drying conditions and humidity can affect the drying period. Moisture checks must always be conducted before installing floor coverings. We accept no liability for extended drying times or damage to floor coverings caused by insufficient moisture checks.

15. Driveway and Property Protection

Failure to protect driveways and surrounding areas may result in staining or damage. We accept no liability for such occurrences.

16. Parking and Traffic Penalties

Any charges incurred by Go-Flow Ltd due to improper parking arrangements, including permit parking violations, congestion charges, or ULEZ fees, will be charged to you, the customer.

17. Delivery Truck Access

If delivery trucks are required to access your property or driveway, we accept no responsibility or liability for any resulting damage.

18. Booking Confirmation

Once your booking is confirmed, we will send a confirmation email with the installation dates, times, preparation guidelines, and terms and conditions.
